According to the claims done by the company, any 2 or 3-wheeler Electric Vehicle will be charged within a significantly reduced span of only 15 minutes.
Although it may seem that 15 minutes is a pretty long time for any vehicles to charge, the fact is an average electric scooter as of now takes anywhere between a whopping 4 to 5 hours to charge.
Hence, by cut-shorting almost 3-4 hours, this technology has the full potential to write history.
Ather Energy, another Indian startup that is currently known for manufacturing the fastest electric scooter in India, takes about 1-2 hours for a complete charge with its fast charger.
Technology Used in the Charger of Log 9 Materials:
The charger uses Supercapacitor Technology. The global market for supercapacitors is expected to reach $16.95 by 2027.

The claims that the charger developed from this supercapacitor can charge electric batteries within 15 minutes and can give at least a traveling range of 70km for 2-wheelers and about 60 km for 3-wheelers.
The company also claims that the battery life of the vehicle will last up to 15 long years, if not at least 10,00,000 km.
Implementation Status:
The Chief Executive of the company Akshay Singhal stated that the company has already started its pilot projects and also has tied up with other companies which include Vogo, Amazon, Shadowfox, and Delivery.
The Log 9 batteries are currently under the testing phase.
The company has also claimed that by September 2021, it will start its commercial production of the batteries.
The company has a target of installing its batteries into at least 3000 electric vehicles by March 2022.
By March 2023, the company aims to install its batteries in over 20,000 electric vehicles.
The technology used by the Log 9 Materials is said to be 5 times safer than other electric batteries. Due to this technology, the pickup of the vehicle increases to a great extent i.e. 0-40 km/h in just 6 seconds.
The company stated that the electric vehicle market in India is about to boom and becomes critical for last-mile connectivity.
What about Delivery/Heavy vehicles?
Things are a lot easier for Two, Three, and Four-wheelers. But when it comes to delivery vehicles or heavy vehicles, a prominent problem arises:
If a vehicle takes about 4-5 hours for charging, then all the precious time which was earlier used to cover huge distances would be in vain.
To better understand it, suppose you ordered an item that would be shipped in 3 days using the current diesel vehicle. But if it was an electric delivery vehicle, which had the same problem said above, it would take anywhere between 2-5 days extra for your shipment to arrive.
Hence, it appears that the 'Rapid Charging Technology' can tackle this significant challenge to delivering electric vehicles.
The Co-Founder of the company also stated that this new technology of charging will be very beneficial for Freight Operators.
Cost:
As of now, the company hasn't revealed any cost for its product. the predictions are that it will announce the product's cost a couple of months later after finishing the tests.
